Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa: who is he?
The current BJP MLA representing Rajasthan’s Dudu assembly constituency is Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa. Prem Chand, a member of a Dalit family, lives in Maujmabad tehsil’s Srinivas Puram. In the Rajasthan Assembly elections of 2023, Bairava defeated Congress candidate Babulal Nagar by a margin of 35,743 votes, to win the seat. Prior to this, in 2013, Bairava had won the Dudu constituency with a margin of 33,720 votes over Congress candidate Hazari Lal Nagar. But in 2018, he was defeated by 14,779 votes to Congress candidate Babu Lal Nagar from the Dudu constituency.
